A Refreshing Drink For Summer.— A family residing near Dunedin were seized with vomiting, giddiness, and retching last week, but could not divine the cause. At last they thought it must be the impure water. The tank was investigated, and a painter's brush was found covered with paint lying at the bottom of of it. The family were drinking white lead and water, owing to the painter being too lazy to remove the brush, which had been accidentally lost in painting the tank.
