Two fresh cases of small-pox have 3 been reported to the Board of Health, i Missing Vessels. 1 Nothing has yet been heard of the 9 missing steamer Balclutha, or of the j barque Omba, bound from Batavia to r Melbourne, the wreckage from which r vessel was seen at Cape Three Points r last week. Steamers have now been * dispatched from this port in search of = the missing vessels. r Bribery and Corruption. Y Sydney, To-day. b The report of Mr Julian Salmon,Q.C., b the Royal Commissioner appointed to B enquire into the Milburn Creek 9 Copper mine affair, has issued his re- ® port. It finds that Messrs Garnet {sic), t Waddel, and Pussell were guilty of 3 bribery and corruption, and further, that a sum of 1,4,500 was appropriated 1 by Mr Baker, formerly Minister of f Mines, and Messrs Waddel and 3 Matheson.
