London Seed Trades 1 ; —--V : ..."h v- •"> Messrs John Shaw and. of 37 Mark Lane, London, report through their agent; (Mr LeonssJ(Y, Blake, of Christchurch), that the'Market during the fortnight ending June 16th was very quiet, and presented no fresh feature of either interest or importance. Stocks of all varieties held over were extremely light, more especially of timothy, lucerne, and pbrenniai rye grasses, supplies of which are p ■actically exhausted. With regard to the prices, with Mhe exception of the above named articles and fine English red, they have during the season ruled moderate; ■ alsyke and white clovers especially have closed at a very low level, and should the; ngf crops turn out disappointing, a considerable advance will be experienced. Bird seeds of all descriptions continued exceedingly cheap.
