The Dread Disease Spreading. Brisbane, To-day. Three cases of small-pox in South Brisbane were reported to the authorities yesterday. The sufferers have been isolated, and the necessary precautions

are being taken to check any spread of the disease. Small Pox. Sydney, July 25. A case of supposed small pox has been to-day reported to the Board of Health from the neighbourhood of Sussex street. The doctors who have examined the sufferer (a child named Woods) have been unable to decide upon the exact nature of the disease at its present stage. Admiral Clanwilliam. Admiral the Earl of Clanwilliam is in better health to-day. He is not, however, yet out of danger. No date has yet been fixed for the departure of he squadron for Auckland. The Arawata. Arrived this morning—Arawata, from Russell. The Catania. Adelaide, July 25. The German steamship Catania, from Hamburg, May 25th,' arrived here today.
