(taking up passengers at any station where required up to Oamaru), arriving at Dunedin at 8 am. following day; and a return night train will leave Dunedin for Christchurch on MONDAY, 11th inst., at 9.20 p.m. The former will leave Ashburton at 10.55 p.m. Fares for return journey (to Dunedin and back), two thirds of ordinary second class single fares. This from Ashburton will be 19s lOd. Passengers will only be booked at these cheap fares by the Friday Night Special, but passengers so hooked may return by Monday’s Express or Special Night Trains.
