In the Legislative Assembly to-night the debate on the vote of want of confidence in the Ministry was resumed, and is still (x 0.30) proceeding.’ Lucky Ballarat. Melbourne, To-day. . The Royal Princes, the Marquis of Normanby, Earl Clanwilliam, and a large party proceeded this morning on a visit to Ballarat. The Fight for Places. The Legislative Assembly. sat to a late hour last night on the no-confidence motion. The debate was finally, however, adjourned till to-day. The Government were twice defeated on a division during the siding on the question of the adjournment of the l debate. Programme of the New Ministry. Aueujpue, June 28. ; 1 In . the Legislative Council to-day the Hon. J. C. Bray, Premier of the •new made »‘statement' in .which he announced that a measure wpiild be introduced for the reform of ,the Council. The Bill would for. the' .adoption/of the Norwegian scheme, ini order tp prevent deadlocks. He further stated that proposals would be submitted for imposing a property tax, and for the extension of railways in the colony.
