Mails close at the Chief Post Office for tiie following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — Saturday, June 11. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 7.80 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this maO. Saturday, June 18. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Porta of New Zealand, &c., per Wanaka, as follows :—Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters at 5 p.m. ; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train.
