A settlement of the difficulty between the British and the American Governments in connection with the Fortune Bay fishery dispute has been arrived at. The Wool Sales. At the wool sales to-day, 8,400 bales were offered, making a total of 168,000 bales catalogued since the opening. A good-demand was experienced for the various lots offered.
