LATEST FROM EUROPE[per reutee’s agency.] The East. London, May 29. The Times , in a leading article yesterday, contradicts the report recently circulated that it was the intention of the British Government permanently to occupy Champ and Pisheen Valley after the evacuation of Candahar. It announces that orders have been issued for the early evacuation of the latter post. The limes further states that the Indian Government has warmly protested against the withdrawal of the troops from Afghan territory, but without influencing the determination of the Imperial Cabinet. Russia and Germany. Rumors that complications are likely to arise between Russia and Germany, consequent upon the accession of the Czar Alexander 111., are attractimg attention throughout Europe. The growing coldness between the two countries is being commented upon in diplomatic circles at the present time. AUSTRALIAN. [per reuter’s agency.] The Inward Suez Mail. Melbourne, To-day.
