i Bigamy. —At Oamaru, yesterday, Henry Chariton, charged with bigamy, was dismissed, as there were no witnesses in the colony to his first marriage, which was solemnised in England. Finally Tuesday was fixed for argument, Mr Lascelles, who appeared for the Company at t!he inquiry, intimating that he would not not be present, as his presence would be admitting that the Union Company was concerned; which he denied in toto - Gazette in Bankruptcy.
