[Per Southeen Cross, at Auckland.] Auckland, Yesterday. The s.s. Southern Cross has arciye.d from Fiji. • The Governor has gone to Rotumah to complete the annexation of that island. A lady has given birtli to triplets. F. Strange and his son Frederck, ‘the owners of a small : vessel,, have been drowned. The copra in the hold caught fire, and they beached the vessel on a reef at the inland of Bakanai In attempting to land, the dingy was capsized, and the unfortunate men were drowned.
