DIVORCE COURT.
—♦— [special to the guardian.] [by telegraph.] Wellington, To-day. The Divorce Court opened this morning. Decrees absolute were granted in the cases of Gilfillan v Gilfillan (Dunedin), and M f Ghee v M'Ghee (Dunedin). A rule nisi was granted in the case of Bailey v Bailey (Dunedin). Weston v Weston (Christchurch), was adjourned until to-morrow. Their Honors are taking time to consider whether the fact that a certificate was not issued before marriage would affect the case. Campbell v. Campbell (Christchurch). Mr Bell appeared for the petitioner, and said neither respondent or co-respondent would appear. The question of damages had been abandoned to save trial by a jury. Mr 8011, in opening the case, stated that the petitioner, James Campbell, was married to respondent _in Victoria, and removed to Christchurch in 1874. In 1879, Mrs Camp-
