Mr Alfred Harrison reports of his Saturday’s sale :—Respecting draughts and hacks, I shall keep a respectful silence, having with difficulty placed one or two at very low rates. Cow, L 5 ; cow and calf, L - Pigs—9 suckers a t6s 6d, 7 at ss, sat 7s 6d, 3 at 6s, 2 at 9s 6d ; 1 each at 345, 355, 335, and 3 at 10s. Small pigs have fallen considerably, but good bacon pigs are asked for. Fowls, Is 9d to 3s per pair ; ducks, 3s 9d per pair ; rabbits, 2s Id per couple. Implements — ploughs and harrows brought good prices. Potatoes, L2 to L2 10s per ton ; carrots, 35s per ton 1 onions, jd to Id per lb; chick-wheat, Is 6d to 2s per bushel; pork, 3fd per lb ; cheese, 4d per lb. A quantity of furniture and sundries sold at fair prices. The attendance was not nearly so large as usual, bidding for many things being far more brißk I________ 1 ________
