DAN HENDERSON & CO., Auctioneers, Ashburton, have been favoured with instructions from Messrs Mutch and M'Kenzie, hotel-keepers, Ashburton, who have dissolved partnership, to sell by Public Auction, on the Premises, on THURSDAY, MAY 12, At 2 p.m., THE WHOLE OP THE PROPERTY Known as the Ashburton Hotel. The Hotel stands on a quarter-acre of ground, is a most substantiallybuilt edifice, and has been designed specially to supply the wants of such a district as Ashburton. It contains thirty-three rooms, and is supplied with all the needful storerooms, washhouse, and other buildings. An excellent business has been done for many years in the hotel, which was the first established in the district ; and has always been, from its earliest history, in the hands of men of good standing and character. The increase of business has been so great and so rapid that three years ago it was found necessary to pull down the old hotel and supply its place with the present handsome and commodious edifice. The buildings will be sold subject to the encumbrances that exist thereon. The purchaser of the Property will be required to take over the Stock and Furniture at a valuation.
