Pilot Patton is on board, but the captain will do nothing for him. He will neither shift out nor in for safety, and the ship is in great danger. Cockswain Milne requests Captain M'Callum to communicate with the agents. The barque is now anchored half a mile outside the Heads. She will be towed in to-night.
