SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, Yesterday. Arrived —Stella, from the South. Auckland, To-day. Arrived —Tararua, s.s., from Sydney, via Russell. She reports that at sp. m. on the 19th, when off Sapirth Bay, North Cape, ran down to the brig Wild Wave, of Sydney, in answer to signals. Hailed her, and found her under jury rudder and short of water. Sent a boat, and the captain came on board and reported having left Kaipara on Thursday, April 14th, bound for Melbourne. The wind died away when on the bar, and the brig became unmanageable, and drifted on the north spit. The sea made a clean breach over her, and swept the deck of everything movable and stove in the boats The Wild Wave drifted over the spit, carrying away her rudder. After getting clear a jury rudder was rigged. The Tararua reports that the vessel is manageable, and required no assistance, but wanted water. She is making for the Bay of Islands or Auckland. The Tararua supplied her with water. New Plymouth, Yesterday. Sailed—Hawea, for Southern ports. Wellington, Yesterday. Arrived—Penguin, from Picton and Nelson ; Wanaka, from the South. Sailed— Go-Ahead, for Kaikoura and Lyttelton ; Kiwi, for Napier and Gisborne.
