[per press association.] Turned Out. Auckland, To-day. At the Supreme Court civil session today, Sir Michael Seymour, by his attorney, obtained a writ of ejectment against Mr Hutcheson, occupier of the house and land belonging to the Admiral, in Victoria street, Auckland. Sale of Racing Stock. There were sold to-day the following racehorses : —Rawsnata, L 95, to Mr Gallagher ; Harkaway, L6O, Mr Holywood ; Omega, L2O, Mr M‘Gee. For Yortex, the bidding reached Ll9O, but the reserve was L 250. For Miss Domett LGO was offered, but L2OO was required. Fire at Bulls. Bulls, To-day. A serious fire occurred here this morning about 9 o’clock, resulting in the total destruction of a six-roomed cottage belonging to a man named Knight. The origin of the fire is unknown at present. Shaw and others, who contributed to the recent result of the Asylum enquiry, it was resolved that his Worship the Mayor be requested to call a public meeting to consider the result of the enquiry. At the commencement of Moritzon’s case, Mr Smith, leading counsel for the prisoner, asked the Court to request the press not to publish the evidence till the completion of the case, as, otherwise, ordering witnesses out of Court would be unavailing, seeing the case could not be completed to-day. The Next Review. Dunedin has been chosen as the site for the next Volunteer Review.
