Hurdle Race, £lO. —Distance, 1J miles, over six flights ; weight, list. Entrance, £l. The Cup, £2O. —Second horse to save stake; miles; weight-for-age. Entrance, £2 2s. Trotting Race (Handicap).— Two miles. First horse, £7 ; second, save stake. Entrance, 10s. Hack Race, £s.—For horses that have never won public , money ; 1 mile. Entrance, 10s. Consolation Race.— l mile. Entrance, 10s (for all beaten horses). —First prize, £5 ss. Entries will be received in all the above races for district horses only.

Rules. 1. No one be allowed to enter a horse unless a subscriber of half a guinea to the funds. Should the prize be £2O or over, to subscribe one guinea. 2. All horses to be owned in the county three months prior to the race. 3. Three horses to start or no race. 4. No protest will be entertained unless £1 be deposited with the Secretary, which will be forfeited should the same, in the opinion of the Committee, prove frivolous. Rules for Athletic Sports. 1. All competitors to be resident in the County three months prior to the races. 2. Three to start or no race. In addition to these, a number of prizes and useful articles will be offered for competition by boys and children. Entrance money for Tinwald C6p and One Mile Flat Race is due on April 11th.
