MOUNT SOMERS ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of this Board was hold, at; the office, -Mount Somers, on Monday. April 4th, 1881. Present —Messrs A. E. Peach (Chairman), W, C. Walker, j. E, Taylor, and John Hood. • .BESOTfUrjON RESCINDBD. . ; l Mr Taylor moved, Mr ,HoqcT seconded,,
and it-wair carriedt—“ That the resolution passed at the .February meeting re Mr A. tde’s water-race be rescinded, and the following resolution be adopted in lieu thereof;, ‘ That Mr Ede’s request be granted, provided he make satisfactory provision for crossing the Tramway Reserve road. ’ ’’ • surveyor's report. The Surveyor’s report was read and considered. It was resolved to call for tenders for the formation and metalling of about thirty chains of the Alford Forestroad, near the gorse fence, and also for the formation of 60 chains' of - Mairiie«ttr ~ road. » , - - s
