The buildings were uninsured ; loss not known. jfoRE Stack Burning. —Another stack fire occurred at Oamaru yesterday morning, on the farm of Messrs Jessop and Elder. The stack was uninsured. A threshing machine was also burnt, which, was insured for L2OO. At Neison. — A fire broke out in a fourroomed cottage at Washington Valley, Nelson, on Wednesday night. The occupier, Mr Fall, was alone in the house, with one child, and experienced some difficulty in escaping.
