Tauranga, To-day., Mr Mclvor, a chemist, from Melbourne, has been sent over by some Melbourne capitalists to inspect the sulphur at White Island, and report whether it would be advisable to erect a chemical manufactory establishment for the preparation of sulphuric acid and chemical manure. Mr Mclvor has returned, and is favorably impressed with the resources of the island, and ho considers that a very important industry can be maintained.
