Should war break out the corps will concentrate at Chalcis, a seaport 17 miles northeast of Thebes, and an important stratagetical position near the frontier. Athens, March 30. In accordance with the decision of the great Powers, to accept the Porte’s proposal to cede territory in Thessaly alone to Greece, the representatives of the Powers in this city are strongly urging the Hellenic Government to agree to the proposal, and thus arrive at a settlement of the Turko-Greek difficulty.
