(Pc v Renter's Agency.) Cricket. Melbourne, March 16. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and Fifteen of Victoria was resumed to-day. The Fifteen were all disposed of in their second innings for 296 runs, M'Shane contributing 65 and Kelly and Alfen 41 each. The Australians reuqire to make 248 runs in their second innings to win the match. Exhibition Awards. Melbourne, To-day. The following further Exhibition awards are announced :—First order of merit —A. and T. Burt, of Dunedin, for gasaliers; Captain Henry Bush, Thames, for kauri gum ; Mrs C. C. Armstrong, for collection of Victorian wild flowers and New Zealand ferns, in natural colors. Third order of merit —Birmingham and Co., Dunedin, for cooking and heating range. Fourth order of merit Thomas Atkinson, Christchurch, for cooking range. Out of the Hurley-Burley. Obituary—Mr J. Story, member for North Melbourne in the Legislative Assembly.
