(Per Reuter's Agency.) Exhibition Awards. Melbourne, March 11. The following further Exhibition awards have been announced :—First order of merit—P. and D. Duncan, Christchurch, and Reid and Gray, Dunedin, for ploughs. Second order of merit—P. and D. Duncan, Christchurch for ploughs ; John Walker, C.E., Thames, for designs for farm buildings. First order of merit—A. and T. Burt, of Dunedin, for brewers’ machine. Third order of merit—Edward Arnold, Kuripeoni, near Wellington, and Bagnall Brothers and Co., Thames, for beehives. Committed for Trial. Sydney, March 11. Beckett has been committed for trial on a charge of setting fire to his premises in Barrack street in January last. The MarketsHenncssy’s brandy, case, 38s; bulk, quarters, 12s. Kerosene, diamond, is 7j£d; Devoc’s is pd. New Zealand oats, 2s qd. Maize, 3s. Adelaide, March 11. Wheat 4s 2d to 4s 4d, firm. Town flour, Lio 7s fid to Lio 11s ; Country brands, L9ssto L 9 7s fid. Freights to London, steamers, 45s ; ditto, sailing vessels, 40s to 42s fid.
