Ashburton Guardian Office. Tuesday afternoon. Mr Alfred Harrison reports for week ending March Sth Respecting landed property, I can say but little, as it is extremely difficult to find purchasers at any price. I annex prices obtained at my sale on Saturday last. Very few draughts are being entered, but of 13 hacks, 8 were sold, at prices ranging from L 3 to Li I 15s. Pigs_Suckers 5s to Ss 6d ; aolbs to qolbs, 14s 6d to 20s. 2 young calves each Bs. Fowls, 2s 3d to 2s lod per paii ; ducks, 4s per. pair. Goat in kid 7s. Produce— Apples, 5s 6d to ?s; onions, id to i>£d. Potatoes—kidney, L 3 to L 4, according. to sample. Wheat —seconds, Is 6d to 2s per bushel. Cheese— 3#d to per lb. Harness and sundries brought fair prices, and the attendance was good.
