In Ohio there is a curious colony. A certain' number of women, for several years past' have been renowned for the most 'astounding custom. The women have, as a rule, luxuriant hair, and-in this State it would appear that it is exceptionally fine and abundant Our shrewd cousins have fbnhd' it more- profitable to sell their hair than to wear it, and they treat it as if it were so much timber. A bargain is made; signed, and sealed, with Certain speculators. The women’s shaved evety four years, and die proceeds sold at a high rale, we are told.
