Frozen Meat Trade.— The Hon. R. Campbell and a few other gentlemen have issued the prospectus of a company with a capital of L 4.000, for the purpose of fitting up a vessel to take Home 4,000 sheep in a frozen condition from Oamaru. Half the capital is to be paid up in cash, and the remainder ia sheep. It is stated that the promoters have received favorable telegrams from Home with regard to the prospects of the meat trade. Everyone must wish Mr Campbell and his associates every success in their spirited venture. It only needs someone to lead the way, and the ice once broken, we are satisfied that the trade will be rapidly developed.
