Not to be Done. —As the funeral of a celebrated divine, long identified with the Orange party in the north of Ireland, was passing the principal thoroughfare of the chief town in that part of the country, one of the “brotherhood," taking a hand at Pat, says, “Now, Paddy, did you ever see a funeral like that among any of your people?” “Pshaw,” said Paddy, “it’s nothing to a funeral I saw in Donegal. It was Father so-and-so’s funeral. _ Why, man, the last carriage did not arrive till two days after the man was buried”.
