THE DUNEDIN MEETING. [By Telegraph.] Training Notes. Dunedin, To-day. Volunteer, Randwick, Morpheus, Huntingdon, On Dit, Natator, Luna, The Agent, and The Governor, appeared on the course this morning. When the horses were being taken out of the train something startled Natator, who fell off the platform on to some stones, injuring himself slightly. Accident to the Cup Favorite. Sir Modred met with an accident this morning. When going at full speed he fell over one of Mr. Taggart’s greyhounds, and knocked two of his teeth out. Ile was walked off the course, but it is not known whether he is seriously injured or not. 6t04 is now offered against him. Latest Betting. The Dunedin Cup. 4 to 1 agst. On Dit 6 1 Randwick 7 1 Sylvanus 9 1 Volunteer 100 —lO Fishhook 100 ; 8 The Governor ■ 100 Scratching s. Adamant, for all engagements. Acceptances for the Cup. The following are the final acceptances for the Dunedin Cup : Fishhook On Dit Volunteer Governor Sir Modred Lady Emma Randwick Sylvanus It is not probable that Lady Emma will start. Le Loup and Titania were scratched at 1.50 yesterday afternoon. Titania broke down after her gallop on Saturday, and Le Loup has a leg which might break him down badly if persevered with. OAMARU RACES. Oamaru, Feb. 21.
