RAKAIA.— Thursday. (Before Mr. N. Wood, R.M., and Mr. D. G. Holmes, J.P.) POLICE CASES. Thomas Happen was fined 10s. and costs for leaving his vehicle and horses unattended. Joseph Basket, for being drunk and using obscene language at Methven, ■ was fined 455. and costs 12s. CIVIL CASES. Tish v. Bronte'. Adjourned to next Court day. C. Lake v. M'Lean. No appearance of either party. W. Hartnell v. Morse. Claim, L 6 Bs. 2d.Defendant pleaded insolvency. Plaintiff was nonsuited. H. Mutter v. Williams. Claim, L 4 2s. 6d. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed and costs.
