r Ashburton Guardian Office. '■ i' 1 Monday afternoon. Mr. T. Bullock, reports At my property saleoh Saturday there was not a very large attendance, on account of harvest operations having commenced. ■ The following properties were sold Lot 29, Trevorton (by order of the mortgagee), containing 1 rood 38 perches, together, with a four-roomed house thereon, for the sum of Li 70 ; and 2 roods. East town belt, fenced-ordjvhrought L 74 > T.S. 488, Burnett street; ‘ in the estate of T. Hudson, realised LSO ; T. S. 422, Tancred street, L6O; part of lot 37, East : town belt, quarter acre, LiS ; a farm- of 96 acre's, Longbeach, was passed in, not reaching owner’s limit; also several sections in Tinwald, and two properties in Trevorton. Taking into account the busy season of the year, and the depression which has been felt in-this district for some time past, the sale may be considered satisfactory.
