SHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL. COUNTY SALE YARDS. In accordance with Clause 80 of “ The Counties Act, 1876,” notice is hereby given, that a SPECIAL MEETING of this Council will he held immediately after the Ordinary Meeting, on WEDNESDAY, 2nd February, 1881, to confirm or otherwise the following proposed Rules and Regulations for the County Sale Yards, namely : 1. The sale of Sheep to commence at 11.30 a.m. sharp. 2. The sale of Pigs to follow Sheep. 3. The sale of Cattle to follow Pigs. 4. The sale of Horses to follow Cattle. 5. The Auctioneer who has his Sheep in Pen No. 1 to commence at 11.30 6. Sheep, Cattle, &c., to be sold in consecutive order, according to the number on the Pens. 7. Any Auctioneer failing to begin selling when his turn comes will lose it. 8. No Stock will be allowed to leavj the Yards without an order from the Auctioneer or his Agent. 9. The Lessees will not hold themselves responsible for Stock left in the Yards. 10. For Special Sales, arrangements to be made with the Lessees of the Yards. a.m.
Scale of Fees. Sheep—ls. per score per day. Sheep—ls. per score per night, yard or paddock. Rama —Double fees will be charged. , Pigs—4d. per head per day. Pigs —4d. per head per night. Cattle—6d. per head per day. Cattle —Gd. per head per night, yard or paddock. Horses—2s. 6d. each per day. Horses—2s. 6d. per night for first night, yard or paddock. Horses—ls. each per night after first night, yard or paddock. Drafting Sheep other than Sale days—2s. 6d. for first 100 or fraction of 100, and the rate of Is. for 100 after that. By order, F.
