(Per Renter’s Agency.) Consols. London, Jan. 26. Consols have advanced to 97^. Wheat. Adelaide wheat is now quoted at 50s, being a decline of 6d. on yesterday’s prices. A Decline. New Zealand five per cents, have suffered a decline of to 1 per cent,, and are now quoted as follows : —ro-40 loan, 102 ; 1889 loan, 107^. The Locked-Out Miners. Renewed rioting has occurred in Lancashire owing to the strike, and several serious collisions have taken place between locked-out miners and the police.
