There was a large comany present, including Mr. A. Macalister, Agent-General for Queensland,; : Mr. Stanton, and other leading ddlOrilstS. Both gentlemen named made speeches, and expressed their full confidence that the line of steamers, in addition to other benefits, would materially assist the develbpent of the trade in fresh meat between the colonies and England. More Arrests, of Leaguers. The measures taken by the Government to suppress the existing agitation in Ireland have led to a summons being issued for the arrest of sixty.
