Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Christchurch, for the following places (subject to necessary alterations) as under; —; ,

Thursday, January 20. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per express train (to connect with the s.s. Rotomahana, at the Bluff), at 7 a.m. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling post’ office ran attached to the express train.
