The Late Sir F. 'Lycett and Wesley-anism.—-T]ie following is culled from a Home paper t —lt is privately reported that, notwithstanding Sir F. Lycett’a princely generosity during life, he has died possessed of a considerable fortune, said to, amount to upwards of a quarter of a million sterling. After the payment of certain legacies, his widow, Lady Lycett, has a life interest in all that is left, and at her death two-thirds of the residuary is to bo devoted to the erection of new Wesleyan chapels in various parts of the ‘metropolis. In addition, Sir F. Lycett is said to have left a legacy of 1 ,/23,000 to the same object, ’' payable shortly,’ Legacies amounting to several I thousands of pounds have been left to Wesleyan Foreign Missions, Home Missions, and other Connexional funds.
