Postponement of the Trial. [By Telegraph.] [.From Our Own Correspondent.] Christchurch, To-day. At the Supreme Court this morning, Walter Pringle Gibson was charged with the murder of William Kerrison. Mr. Holmes applied for a postponement of the trial till next session, as the plea for the defence would be insanity, to establish which he would require a month to collect evidence. The postponement was granted.
