(Per Press Association.) Another : Victim. Wellington, To-day. A man named J. W. Jordon, formerly

a clerk in. the Legislative Council, was found dead outside the Railway Hotel, Lower Hutt, at 5 o’clock this morning. Jordon was last seen alive last right at the hotel, where he was ' under the influence of liquor. The landlord had him put to bed and lokced the door. It is supposed that Jordon attempted to get out of the window, when ho fell and was hilled, his neck being broken. The deceased recently received L7OO, and has been drinking heavily of late.
