THE WINSLOW CUP.

To the Editoh. Sir, —I expected to see the nominations for the Winslow Cup published in this morning’s paper, as the entries closed yesterday. I suppose their sporting reporter must have been asleep. As I am interested in this event, I hope you will endeavor to let the public know what horses are going foi this race, as all the district cracks are supposed to meet there at weight-for-age, and the owners will then know what they have to compete against.—l am, Ac., James W. Mcßae.

[Our correspondent has to bo informed that, owing to an error in the advertised distance of the Gup Race, the lime for receiving entries has been extended till the 2pth—Saturday.— -Eel. A. (/.J
