Should the prize be £2O or over, to subscribe one guinea. 2. All horses to. be owned in the County three months prior to the Races. 3. 'Three to start or no Race. 4. No horse to run in the Trotting or Hack Race that has won public money. 5. No Protest will be entertained unless £1 be deposited with the Secretarjq which will be forfeited should the same, in the opinion of the Committee, prove frivolous. G. THE SECOND Annual Sports Meeting of the Ashburton CALEDONIAN SOCIETY will be held in the Agricultural and Pastoral Asssociation’s Show Ground, Ashburton, on MONDAY AND TUESDAY, December 27th and 28th, When the prizes enumerated below will be competed for. PROGRAMME OF SPORTS ; Entrance Money, Five per Cent, on amount of first prize. Entries can be made with tiro Secretary up to Eleven o’clock on the day of the sports, for such events as have not come off, except for events Nos. 3, 15, 18, and 22, entries for which must be in by noon on the Bth December. For these handicap events the handicaps will be declared on the 15th December, and acceptances must be in the Secretary’s hands by noon of the 22nd December. Members are reminded that their tickets expired on the 30th September last, and that their subscriptions are now due. These are requested to be paid at once to the Secretary or Treasurer. J.
