The Regatta, which was postp med from Thursday, took place to-day. The weather was beautiful, and th<; sea favorable for the races. The beach is lined with spectators. The following races have been decided up to 3 p.ni. : Landing Service Race, three nudes. Harbor Board service ... x Timaru service ... ... 2 George street service... ... 3 Time— 30 minutes. Amateur Four-oared Race, two and a-half miles. Timaru Boating Club ... 1 Reid’s Titania ... ... 2 Time—ls minutes. Scullers’ Race. Duncan and Bell competed, the former winning easily. Champion Race, four miles. First prize, L2O ; second, L 6. Bradley’s Zebra ... ... t Coll is’ Pinafore ... ... 2 Won by nearly a mile.
