No entry will be received for any of the races, except on the, condition that all disputes shall be decided by the Stewards, whose! decisions in all cases shall be final. A district horse shallmean a horse which has been commonly resident in, and owned by a resident in the County previous to Sept. 1, 1880, ahd up to the date of the forthcoming meeting; provided always that any district horse shall not be disqualified from having run in his buna fide, owner’s name in races outside the County during the above-mentioned term. Canterbury Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to unless otherwise specified. No protest will be entertained unless L2 2s be deposited, which will be forfeited should the protest, in the opinion of the Stewards, prove frivolous. Acceptances and Sweeps to be paid to the Secretary not later than nine p.m. on the night of Monday, November 15th.
