Thiele, Ashburton,- Sept. 23, 1880 : L.N. 539—• Physical characteristics, a well-made bread, clean and white, and of good taste; water, 43.04 per cent; ash, - 90 per cent; alum, nil; sulphuric acid, trace ; copper, nil; iron, nil ; tartaric acid, nil; reaction of aqueous infusion, slightly acid; reaction of ash, alkaline ; color of ash, r white.
