Sydney, Oct. 26.
The suspension of Mr. Stephen, Undersecretary for Lands, has terminated, and he has been removed to a slightly inferior position. The Gunga. Advices have been received from Levuka, dated October 9th, in which it is stated that the Gunga has not arrived, being four days overdue. It is, however, conjectured that her machinery has broken down. The Cup. Melbourne, Oct. 26. The betting on Mata, Progress, and Burleigh is now 8 to 1.
