MR. GRIGG’S PAPER.

To the Editor. Sir, —Having watched with great interest the results of Mr. Grigg’s paper on farming, and reading the answers elicited by it, I am surprised to see Mr. Grigg’s silence on the subject. He says in his paper that he is prepared to fight his position “ inch by inch,” and yet allows his theory to be knocked on the head without saying a word in defence at all. Now, if this is Mr. Grigg’s way of fighting “inch by inch,” ho has different views on the subject to what I have ; and, for my own part, I certainly hold with “ Roscoe,” that sorrel should be backed against the 60 per cent, profit in Mr. Grigg’s paper.— I am, &c., A Little Sorrel.
