THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS BILL.
This Bill has in effect passed the House, subject to the adoption or rejection by hon. members of such suggestions by corporations as these bodies may see fit to supply. The House has been graciously pleased to allow corporations an opportunity to criticise the Bill in its amended form, and for this purpose has virtually hung Rup for a month. It is noticeable, however, that the House has rejected the abolition of plurality of votes to property by 37 to 8.
