UPPER ASHBURTON LOCAL BOARD OF HEALTH.

This Board held their annual meeting on Tuesday 6th inst. Present—Messrs Donald McLean (Chairman), Stitt, Sargent, and Poole. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. The Board’s official reported as to the general very satisfactory state of the' health of the S district, arid the absence of anything .in the shape of contagious diseases. A few cases ,of chicken-pox had occurred, but he was happy to say that this complaint had entirely disappeared.
