THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

[BY TELEGRAPH, j Wellington, June 28. The mail steamer was this month again two days late in starting from San Francisco, not having left until the 9fch inst., instead of the 7th. She is not therefore expected to reach Auckland before tomorrow or Wednesday. The Government steamer Stella is now at Manukau surveying, and will bring on the Wellington and Southern mails via New Plymouth. The New Zealand May mail despatches by the City of Sydney will reach San Francisco on'the 16th inst., a day in advance of contract time.
