Ashburton Guardian Office, Monday Evening. Alfred Harrison reports as follow : I held tho weekly sale at my yards, and as usual, had a large attendance. Five draughts and hacks sold at prices ranging from L 3 10*. to L2l ; 1 fat cow brought LG 7s. 6c1.; 18 pigs were entered, and sold at from 17s. 6d. to L2 18s., or an ayerage of od. per lb.; a consignment of rabbits, in splendid condition, sold at Is. Bd. to Is. 6d. per pair; turkeys, 10s. each ; geese, 17s. per pair ; ducks, 3s. 9d. per pair; fowls, 2s. 6d. to 3a. per pair ; oats, 200 bushels brought Is. per bushel ; barley, 100 bushels brought Is. per bushel; chick feed, Is. to la. 3d. per bushel. Sundries brought very fair prices. The bidding generally was quick and spirited, and altogether a satisfactory sale was concluded.
