SCHOOL DISTRICT OF HINDS. d mflE Education Board of the Distric n _l_ of North Canterbury proposes tha g the locality comprising all that part of tin e district contained within the following 1- boundaries, that is to say , Commencing at the junction of the roac north-east of section 1(574.3 with the 1, road south-east of said section, thence 1 south-westerly, following the latter road to the southernmost corner ol , section 30758, thence northerly, following a road forming the western i boundary of section 30758 to the / southermost corner of section 2818 G, 3 thence north-westerly, following the south-western boundary of the latter section to the ■westernmost corner thereof ; thence southwesterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11 1 of the sub-division of Reserve No. 1371 (in red) to the road separating that lot from Lot 14, thence northwesterly following said road to the railway line ; thence south-westerly following the railway to the eastern- , most corner of Lot 11 of the sub-divi-sion of Reserve No. 1381 (in red); thence north-westerly, following the northeastern boundary of said lot to the road northwest thereof ; thence south westerly along said road to its junction with the road separating sections 33459 and 31453 ; thence northerly, following the latter road to the road separating sections 28193 and 28192 ; . . thence north-easterly, following this road to its junction with the road first above mentioned, and from thence returning south-easterly along the same to the commencing point, shall bo erected into a separate School District to be called the School District of Hinds, pursuant to the Education Act, 1877. And the Board hereby calls a public meeting of the householders of such locality, to be held on MONDAY, the twenty-first day of June, at seven o’clock in the evening, a': the house Mr. Donald M'Lenan, for the purpose of electing a Committee, and considering the boundaries of the said proposed School District. The Board further directs that the first meeting of the said School Committee be held in the place appointed for the election, and immediately after the election upon the the same evening. J. Y.
